Security and Privacy in Linux
WPA links:
How to forward local ports through ssh: ssh -L localport:remotehost:remoteport sshhost. This can enable extra security for applications like IM as well as allow you to access campus resources while at home.

We started off discussing PGP/GPG with email, specifically using Mozilla, Thunderbird, and Evolution. We touched upon ssh, VPN and various other issues in connecting with the university network securely.
Watched the WBAL news report about the DC hub getting shut down and discussed P2P issues.
Settled the Vice Presidency for next year. Koffi Kpetigo will be Vice President and Michael Stern will be Treasurer for the first semester and the two will switch for the spring semester. The decision was based on a coin toss.
